The Port of Redwood City is the only deepwater port on San Francisco Bay south of San Francisco.


If you have school aged children the elementary schools are good in certain areas but the High Schools rate well in academic achievement. The population is over 800,000 Redwood City is the third largest city in San Mateo County.


Redwood City is home to several technology companies, like Oracle, Electronic Arts, Evernote, Box Inc and the County of San Mateo buildings jails and courthouse. Kaiser Permanente, Sequoia Hospital and Stanford Clinics are located here.


Redwood City has a vibrant downtown area bustling with people and families who enjoy dining in the many restaurants. There’s Chinese, American, Persian, Mexican – something for everyone. Who doesn’t like to sit outside the local coffee shop and watch the world go by, or attending a musical recital at The Fox Theatre, opened in 1929 and still going strong. The city stages live music performances during the summer months ranging from rock to jazz to country. You can watch an outdoor movie in Courthouse Square or try salsa dancing in the park.


Perfectly situated between San Francisco, and San Jose, why drive when you can easily catch commuter trains north to San Francisco or south to San Jose. With easy access to San Francisco and San Jose International Airports and a private airport in the neighboring city of San Carlos.
